New Work Planner and MyJobs discontinuation
11th November 2020;
How much time does a driver spend in the field to setup the machine display for correct documentation? As of mid-January, this setup time is going to be greatly reduced as will be the number of costly errors due to wrong display information. With the new Work Planner tool managers will plan the work ahead while operators just accept the work including Generation 4 display settings with a push of a button. This is a major step to further integrate the Operations Center and Gen4 machine displays.
The Work Planner tool will replace the existing Work Manager tool. At the same time the MyJobsTM and MyJobsManager apps will be discontinued. Customers currently using these apps will have to change to the new Work Planner tool.
Using the new tool, a driver receives a notification on his Generation 4 display at field entry that a work plan is available for this field. After confirming the pre-populated setup, the display is ready to run documentation and AutoTracTM.
The Setup Builder is not replaced. The new Work Planner is focusing on the setup of complex operations like seeding and application executed with a Generation 4 display. The Setup Builder will still be used to send setup related assets to machine displays.
